Corporate Compliance

The Corporate Compliance Program at Deaconess helps all of our employees "do the right thing." At Deaconess, our intent is to conduct all of our business in compliance with both the letter and the spirit of applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Our intent is to conduct our business with honesty, integrity and a strong commitment to high ethical standards. As a corporation, all Deaconess employees will vigorously enforce our compliance as we seek to provide:

  • Quality care for our patients and customers
  • Value for the healthcare dollars committed to us
  • Safety for our employees
  • Protection of the environment

All Deaconess employees receive corporate compliance training as part of their initial orientation and are given detailed information in a corporate compliance booklet. Employees also continue to receive regular compliance refresher training because these issues are important to us, as individuals and as a corporation. Deaconess, the government and our customers all expect compliance, and it remains the basis of quality care and service.
