Deaconess Associations, Inc. (DAI), a diversified healthcare company based in Cincinnati, announced the appointment of Vivienne Lee Bechtold of Symmes Township to its board of directors. The appointment was effective September 1.
Bechtold is a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) engineering graduate with 27 years of experience as a strategic marketer at P&G, achieving the title of “Harley Procter Marketer,” the highest distinction at P&G held by only a dozen marketers in the company’s history.
In addition to serving P&G in a variety of leadership roles nationally, Bechtold held several global positions, including leading the marketing function for the company’s business in northeast Asia. During her tenure with P&G she was recognized by Advertising Age magazine as the first “Interactive Marketer of the Year.”
Bechtold is currently an independent strategic marketing consultant working with both for-profit and non-profit organizations.
Bechtold is also a co-founder of Crossroads Community Church, which has expanded to five locations in greater Cincinnati, serves over 19,000 followers, and raised more than $100 million for ministry work. She and her husband, Jim, and three children live in Symmes Township, where she also serves on the board of Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy.
