What is the Heimlich MicroTrach™?
The Heimlich MicroTrach is a device which permits direct delivery of oxygen to the lungs via tube that is inserted through the throat. Since oxygen is delivered directly to the lungs, the Heimlich MicroTrach is more efficient than nasal cannulas. This gives patients more freedom, because their oxygen tanks can last longer. Also, because oxygen is not wasted, it is less expensive for patients.
