The Annual Drive usually comes before the holidays and pinpoints one effort, such as the Deaconess Medical Monitoring system that allows people to stay secure and independent in their homes even with serious medical problems. Endowment funds often support the work of a healthcare professional. Because of the way it is structured, an endowment allows continued support by using only its interest as the funding source. Scholarship funds are similar and support education, usually in the field of healthcare. When new services launch, they almost always need support to be a truly exceptional program in their field. Can you be the donor who makes that difference? Those services are often involve bricks and mortar, supported by capital improvement funds, also often provided by a donor who sees the need and answers the call.
